Where startup AI projects stall
- An AI feature on the roadmap and nobody on the team who has shipped one to production
- Demos that work on stage and fail on real data, cost and latency
- Hiring senior agent or ML engineers takes longer than the runway allows
- Customers and investors asking how it is evaluated, secured and supervised
What is fractional AI engineering?
A senior external team owns a defined build, covering scope, architecture, evaluation and deployment, for an agreed outcome, then hands it over or keeps it running. It differs from staff augmentation because you are buying a working system, not hours.
Proof: systems we designed and shipped end to end
Nexora, DeckVoice, ReachPilot and Schmoozzer are products we designed, built and shipped ourselves: a human-approved agentic IDE, a realtime meeting agent, outbound email automation and a multi-channel GTM SaaS. That is the same job a startup hands us, from first scope to a deployed system.

How a build runs
- Discovery sprint. Scope, success criteria, risks and the first milestone, agreed before any build starts.
- Build the first milestone. A working slice in your environment, not a demo on our laptops.
- Evaluate and harden. Regression tests for the hard cases, plus monitoring, approvals and cost visibility.
- Hand over or keep running. Your engineers take ownership with documentation, or we operate it with you.

Frequently asked questions
What stage of startup do you work with?
Teams with a funded build, a clear scope and a decision-maker involved. If the scope is not clear yet, a discovery sprint is where we start.
Can you work alongside our engineers?
Yes. We work in your repository and review process and design the handoff so your engineers can own the system afterwards.
How long will it take?
We do not quote a timeline before scoping. A narrow pilot against one system often lands in weeks. Production systems with retrieval, orchestration and monitoring take a multi-sprint build.
Who is on the work?
The three co-founders, Muhammad Atif, Abdul Ahad and Talha Asif, scope every engagement and stay involved through delivery.
